The story of the Venejoki Mill begins in the famine years of the 1800s, traveling through the golden age of mill operations to the present day. At the mill, traditions, craftsmanship, and skills have carried the residents and workers of different eras through challenging times.

During the The Story of the Mill experience, we will enjoy coffee in the cozy atmosphere of the water mill while listening to stories about the mill and village life throughout different periods. Around a long table, we will savor local North Karelian delicacies alongside our coffee.
