FINLAV Avalanche Safety 1 Course

The Avalanche Safety 1 course provides basic knowledge about avalanches and avalanche danger. Participants will learn different methods to move safely in close proximity to avalanche terrain.

Participants will learn how to search and interpret relevant information to make good and reasoned decisions. Participants will also be capable of independently performing a companion rescue in simple conditions.
