Kokemäki Agricultural Museum
Gratis
The Kokemäki Agricultural Museum houses a collection of agricultural tools, scale models and equipment from various trades. The museum was established when the Kokemäki Local Heritage Association, founded in 1913, set out to preserve the everyday tools and household items of ordinary people.
In 1938, the museum was relocated to an old grain storage building, becoming Finland’s first museum to be housed in a former grain warehouse. The exhibition has remained almost unchanged since those early days – unlike the world around it. There is plenty to see and marvel at across three floors.
The museum is open in July when a guide is present on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
