Paddle on the peaceful waters of Lapland and enjoy the beauty of the midnight sun! This guided activity will offer you a unique summer arctic experience that you will long remember!

Finland is also known as the Land of a Thousand Lakes. A significant amount of the 188 000 lakes spread on its territory are located in Lapland and adorn the arctic nature with beautiful scenery. The pure and untouched landscapes here are highlighted by fantastic natural phenomenon all year round. From Autumn to Spring, the famous Northern Lights draw their green and red arches across the starry skies. In summer, the sun never sets and shines all day and all night : this is the Midnight Sun.

To enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Midnight Sun, there is no better way than paddling on some of the many lakes and rivers of Lapland. During this activity, your qualified canoe guide will teach you the basic techniques on how to canoe and will provide you with all the safety instructions needed. You will be explained how to use the paddles, how to move on water and steer your canoe, how to react if capsizing, etc. Your guide will always keep an eye on you, and will come to your aid if you are in need of help. 

While paddling, you will feel the peacefulness of the nature surrounding you with the warm rays of the sun shining in the middle of the night. After a long dark winter with snow on the ground for over 6 months, the land, vegetation and animals finally have an opportunity to replenish their energy levels and relax with the abundance of life that the 24 hour sun brings with it. Steering your canoe across the lake, you will have the chance not just to get deeper into this summer harmony but also to feel completely part of it. 

Once you are getting back ashore, you will be welcomed by an open fire and some typical Finnish snack. This is a good moment for your guide to show you how to build and lit a fire (without matches or lighter!) using a flint & steel. 

Canoeing under the Midnight Sun

Tout au long de l'année, différents phénonènes naturels viennent souligner la beauté des paysages purs et intacts de l'Arctique. De l'automne au printemps, les célèbres aurores boréales dessinent leurs arches vertes et rouges à travers le ciel étoilé. En été, c'est le soleil qui ne se couche jamais et brille de jour comme de nuit: c'est le soleil de minuit!

Pour profiter de la sérénité qui règne sous le soleil de minuit, rien de mieux qu'une balade en canoë sur un des miliers de lacs qui s'étendent en Laponie. Votre guide certifié vous présentera les canoës. Il/Elle vous fera une introduction sur les consignes de sécurité à respecter, ainsi que les techniques de bases pour diriger votre canoë, telles que l'utilisation des pagaies en fonction des circonstances, comment se diriger sur l'eau et faire virer l'embarcation, comment réagir en cas de chavirage, etc. Votre guide gardera un oeil constant sur vos manoeuvres et sera toujours là pour vous porter secours en cas de besoin.

Cette balade en canoë vous permettra de ressentir toute la sérénité de la nature qui nous entoure et vous pourrez alors prendre la pleine mesure de l'harmonie qui règne ici, en Laponie. La nature entière recouvre ses forces et prospère sous l'abondance de vie que le soleil éternel apporte. Dirigeant votre barque sur les eaux calmes, vous apprécierez la quiétude des lieux jusqu'à faire partie intégrante de l'harmonie ambiante!

Une fois de retour sur la terre ferme, vous serez accueillis par un petit snack à la Finlandaise, servi autour d'un feu  de camp. C'est l'occasion parfaite pour votre guide de vous faire la démonstration de ses capacités de survie et vous apprendre à faire un feu sans allumettes ou briquet, juste à l'aide d'une pierre à feu et d'éléments de la nature.

Von August bis zum Frühjahr malen die Nordlichter ihre grünen Bögen über den sternenübersehten Himmel. Im Sommer geht die Sonne niemals unter und scheint den ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht: das ist die Mitternachtssonne! 

Um die friedliche Schönheit der Mitternachtssonne zu genießen gibt es keinen besseren Weg, als auf einem der zahlreichen Seen und Flüssen Lapplands zu paddeln. Bei dieser Aktivität wird ein qualifizierter Kanu-Guide Ihnen die grundlegenden Techniken des Kanufahrens erklären und Ihnen alle nötigen Sicherheitsanweisungen geben. Ihnen wird gezeigt, wie man die Paddel benutzt, wie man sich auf dem Wasser bewegt und das Kanu lenkt, wie man reagiert im Falle eines Kenterns etc. Ihr Guide wird Sie immer im Auge behalten und Ihnen zu Hilfe kommen, wenn Sie Hilfe benötigen.

Während des Paddelns können Sie die Friedlichkeit der Natur spüren, die Sie mitten in der Nacht mir wärmenden Sonnenstrahlen umgibt. Nach einem langen und kalten Winter mit über 6 Monaten Schnee, haben das Land, die Vegetation und Tiere endlich eine Gelegenheit, ihre Energielevel aufzufüllen und sich auszuruhen mit der Fülle an Leben, die die 24-stündige Sonne mit sich bringt. Während Sie Ihr Kanu über den See lenken, haben Sie die Möglichkeit, tiefer in diese sommerliche Harmonie einzutauchen und ein Teil von ihr zu werden.

Wenn Sie wieder am Ufer ankommen, werden Sie von einem offenen Feuer und einigen typisch finnischen Snacks willkommen geheißen. 

Kanufahren unter der Mitternachtssonne

Los paisajes puros e intactos de esta región se ven realzados por fantásticos fenómenos naturales durante todo el año. De otoño a primavera, las famosas auroras boreales dibujan sus arcos verdes y rojos sobre los cielos estrellados. En verano, el sol nunca se pone y brilla todo el día y toda la noche: es el Sol de Medianoche.

Para disfrutar de la apacible belleza del Sol de Medianoche, no hay mejor manera que remar en alguno de los muchos lagos y ríos de Laponia. Durante esta actividad, su guía de canoa cualificado le enseñará las técnicas básicas para navegar en canoa y le dará todas las instrucciones de seguridad necesarias. Le explicará cómo utilizar los remos, cómo moverse en el agua y dirigir la canoa, cómo reaccionar en caso de vuelco, etc. Su guía siempre le vigilará y acudirá en su ayuda si lo necesita. 

Mientras rema, sentirá la tranquilidad de la naturaleza que le rodea con los cálidos rayos del sol brillando en medio de la noche. Tras un largo y oscuro invierno con nieve en el suelo durante más de 6 meses, la tierra, la vegetación y los animales tienen por fin la oportunidad de reponer sus niveles de energía y relajarse con la abundancia de vida que trae consigo el sol de 24 horas. Conduciendo su canoa por el lago, tendrá la oportunidad no sólo de adentrarse en esta armonía estival, sino también de sentirse completamente parte de ella. 

Al volver a tierra, le darán la bienvenida con una hoguera y algún aperitivo típico finlandés. Este es un buen momento para que su guía le enseñe a encender un fuego (¡sin cerillas ni mechero!) utilizando un pedernal y un acero. 

Piragüismo bajo el sol de medianoche 

This activity offers a great insight to reindeer and huskies, two iconic animals of the Arctic region. You'll visit a traditional reindeer farm and learn about the reindeer from the herders. You'll even get a chance to feed them their favourite food. After this, there's a visit to a husky kennel where the staff shares their lifestyle, explain you what the job of a musher consists of, how they train their dogs and answer all your questions.

Bei dieser Aktivität steht ein Einblick in das Leben von Rentieren und Huskys im Mittelpunkt – zwei wichtigen Tieren der arktischen Region. Beim Besuch einer traditionellen Rentierfarm erfährst du von den Rentierzüchtern Wissenswertes über ihre Tiere. Du kannst die Rentiere sogar mit ihrem Lieblingsfutter verwöhnen. Dann steht der Besuch einer Huskyfarm auf dem Programm. Die Mitarbeiter berichten über das Leben der Huskys, erklären dir die Arbeit eines Mushers, wie die Tiere trainiert werden – und beantworten deine Fragen.

Experiencia de verano con renos y huskies Esta actividad ofrece la posibilidad de conocer a los renos y a los huskies, dos animales emblemáticos de la región ártica. Visitarás una granja de renos tradicional y aprenderás sobre los renos de la mano de los pastores. Incluso tendrás la oportunidad de darles de comer su comida favorita. Después, visitarás a los huskies y el personal te explicará en qué consiste el trabajo de un musher, cómo entrenan a sus perros y responderá a todas tus preguntas.

Vivez une expérience estivale avec des rennes et des huskys  Cette activité vous donnera un très bon aperçu des rennes et des huskys, deux animaux emblématiques de toute la région arctique. Vous visiterez un élevage traditionnel de rennes et apprendrez mille et une choses sur les rennes au contact des éleveurs. Vous aurez même l'occasion de nourrir ces bêtes en leur donnant à manger leur « plat » préféré. Ensuite, vous visiterez un chenil de huskys où l’équipe de soignants vous fera partager son quotidien. Vos hôtes répondront bien volontiers à toutes vos questions, sans oublier de vous donner toutes explications sur la fonction du musher et sa façon de mener son attelage de chiens à travers monts et forêts. 

This Summer combo will offer you a great insight of reindeer and huskies, two iconic animals of the Arctic.

Your guide will drive you in a very small group (never more than 8 people) to one of the most traditional reindeer farms in Lapland. The families of herders are based just outside of Rovaniemi on the lovely shores of a peaceful lake. From our perspective, they provide the best experience possible when it comes to both knowledge and service. 

As you will be taken in the surroundings, you will learn about the reindeer from the herders. They will show you around the traditional farm and, because it is the first visit of the day, you will be given a chance to feed them their favourite food, lichen, which to reindeer is like chocolate! The visit will end with a very friendly time around the fire in the company of a herder who will answer all your questions and share their passion with you. 

After this great time with the reindeer, your guide will take you to the husky kennel to meet the excited dogs. The mushers will greet you at their farm, so will the barking of their lovely huskies. The mushers will take time to share their lifestyle, explain you what the job of a musher consists of, how they train their dogs and answer all your questions. You will spend time with the dogs and cuddle them. Summer is also the period when they have their puppies! All the dogs are very photo enthusiasts, so do not forget to bring your camera with you !

At the end of this combination activity, you will get back to Rovaniemi with a great insight of two very iconic arctic animals!

Reindeer & Husky Summer Experience

Diese Sommerkombination bietet Ihnen einen großartigen Einblick in Rentiere und Huskys, zwei ikonische Tiere der Arktis.

Ihr Guide fährt Sie in einer sehr kleinen Gruppe (nie mehr als 8 Personen) zu einer der traditionellsten Rentierfarmen in Lappland. Die Hirtenfamilien sind etwas außerhalb von Rovaniemi an den schönen Ufern eines ruhigen Sees ansässig. Unserer Meinung nach bieten sie die bestmögliche Erfahrung, hinsichtlich der Kenntnisse und des Services.

Während Sie in die Umgebung geführt werden, erfahren Sie von den Hirten mehr über die Rentiere. Sie zeigen Ihnen den traditionellen Bauernhof, und da es der erste Besuch des Tages ist, haben Sie die Möglichkeit, die Rentiere mit ihrem Lieblingsfutter zu füttern: Flechten, die für Rentiere wie Schokolade sind! Der Besuch endet mit einem gemütlichen Beisammensein am Feuer in Begleitung eines Hirten, der alle Ihre Fragen beantwortet und seine Leidenschaft mit Ihnen teilt. 

Nach dieser großartigen Zeit mit den Rentieren bringt Sie Ihr Guide zu den Huskies, um die aufgeregten Hunde zu treffen. Die Musher werden Sie auf ihrer Farm begrüßen, ebenso wie das Bellen ihrer lieben Huskys. Die Musher werden sich Zeit nehmen, um Ihnen ihren Lebensstil zu erklären, Ihnen zu erklären, was die Arbeit eines Mushers ausmacht, wie sie ihre Hunde trainieren und all Ihre Fragen beantworten. Sie werden Zeit mit den Hunden verbringen und mit ihnen schmusen. Der Sommer ist auch die Zeit, in der sie ihre Welpen bekommen! Alle Hunde sind sehr fotobegeistert, also vergessen Sie nicht, Ihre Kamera mitzubringen!

Am Ende dieser kombinierten Aktivität kehren Sie mit einem großartigen Einblick in zwei ikonische arktische Tiere nach Rovaniemi zurück!

Rentier & Husky Sommer Erlebnis

Este combo de verano le ofrecerá una gran visión de los renos y los huskies, dos animales emblemáticos del Ártico.

Su guía le llevará en un grupo muy reducido (nunca más de 8 personas) a una de las granjas de renos más tradicionales de Laponia. Las familias de pastores tienen su base en las afueras de Rovaniemi, en las encantadoras orillas de un tranquilo lago. Desde nuestro punto de vista, ofrecen la mejor experiencia posible en cuanto a conocimientos y servicio. 

Mientras le llevan por los alrededores, aprenderá sobre los renos de la mano de los pastores. Le mostrarán la granja tradicional y, por ser la primera visita del día, tendrá la oportunidad de darles de comer su alimento favorito, el liquen, que para los renos es como el chocolate. La visita terminará con un rato muy agradable alrededor del fuego en compañía de un pastor que responderá a todas tus preguntas y compartirá su pasión contigo. 

Después de este gran momento con los renos, tu guía te llevará a la perrera de los huskys para que conozcas a los emocionados perros. Los mushers le recibirán en su granja, al igual que los ladridos de sus adorables huskies. Los mushers se tomarán su tiempo para compartir su estilo de vida, explicarle en qué consiste el trabajo de un musher, cómo entrenan a sus perros y responder a todas sus preguntas. Podrá pasar tiempo con los perros y abrazarlos. El verano es también el periodo en el que tienen a sus cachorros. Experiencia de verano con renos y huskys

Cette excursion d'été vous permet d'en apprendre plus sur les rennes et les huskys, deux animaux emblématiques de l'Arctique.

Votre guide professionnel vous emmènera tout d'abord à l'une des fermes de rennes les plus authentiques de Laponie. Elle est située à l'extérieur de Rovaniemi, sur les bords d'un lac paisible. Les familles qui y vivent pratiquent l'élevage de rennes depuis environ 200 ans. De notre point de vue, ils fournissent une des meilleures expériences de rennes possible, tant du point de vue de la qualité du service que de l'authenticité du lieu. 

Alors qu'on vous fera visiter les différentes partie de la ferme, vous découvrirez un peu plus le métier d'éleveur de rennes. Comme c'est aussi la première visite de la journée, vous aurez la possibilité de nourir les rennes avec leur nourriture préférée : le lichen. La visite se porsuivra autour du feu, en compagnie d'un éleveur qui répondra à toutes vos questions et partagera sa passion avec vous.

Après cette belle expérience à la ferme de rennes, votre guide vous conduira à la rencontre d'une meute de huskys. Au chenil vous serez accueillis par les mushers (éleveurs de chiens de traîneaux) et les aboiements de leurs adorables chiens. Les éleveurs prendront le temps de vous partager leur style de vie, de vous expliquer en quoi consiste le travail d'un musher et comment sont entraînés les chiens, et de répondre à toutes vos questions. Leurs chiens étant particulièrement photogéniques, n'oubliez pas d'emportez votre appareil photo avec vous!

Au terme de cette excursion qui combine deux activités en une, vous reprendrez la route de votre hôtel à Rovaniemi avec de belles images en tête et beaucoup de nouveaux amis à poils!

Puedes cruzar el Circulo Polar Artico mientras jugando al golf bajo el sol de medianoche. Santa Claus Golf es una campo hermoso e interesante con caracter norteno y solo pocos kilometros de distancia del centro de Rovaniemi.

Hay una diferencia de altitud en el campo y los bosques la bordean. En junio y julio puedes jugar en cualquier hora del dia o de la noche porque el sol no se pone en absoluto. En el campo tambien se pueden ver renos corriendo libremente.

La temporada de golf de verano comienza en mayo y finaliza en octubre. Restaurante y terraza de la casa club te servira antes y despues de la ronda. Despues del hoyo 10 hay una cafeteria donde puedes comer delicas de Laponia por ejemplo salchicha de reno.
