Lomalehto Cottages: Five amazing cottages by Lake Saimaa

Lomalehto Cottages offers four high-quality lakeside log cabin cottages in the Savonlinna region directly on lake Pihlajavesi, which is a part of the Saimaa lake and the habitat of the endangered Saimaa ringed seal.

Our spacious round log cabin villas Mäntyniemi, Katajanokka, Norppatorppa and Karhunpesä have received a 5 star rating on the Finnish MALO quality scale.

This means that you will find the comfort, privacy and peace that you are looking for - every day of the year.

All our lakeside cabins are located on the shores of Lake Saimaa and have an own beach, private sauna and bathing jetty .You can easily go for a swim or go out in a canoe or rowing boat, or go fishing.

There is also a beautiful 8 km long trail in our forest, which starts very close to the cottages. Along the trail you will find a hut where you can make coffee or sausages by the fire and admire great views. The forests around Lomalehto are great for picking berries and mushrooms or just hiking.

Winter activities when snow covers the ground: skiing, ice fishing, ice swimming. An approximately 8 km long ski trail starts almost at the entrance of your cabin.

Snowshoe trips, ice-fishing and ice swimming have also proved very popular among our guests. There is also a good hill near the cottages for children - and adults who dare - to go tobogganing.
